LACS offers to well-motivated, enthusiastic mathematically talented candidates the opportunity for fully-funded PhD positions in Computer Science. Postdoctoral and internship positions may be available to outstanding candidates.

Successful candidates will have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, parallel computing, and/or computer systems. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our projects (mathematics, computer science, computational science) candidates should be able to learn quickly and study independently. Strong C/C++ knowledge and experience in software development are an asset, and some background in distributed computing, GPU computing or algorithm design is desirable. Applicants need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
